STORM DAMAGE · INSURANCE CLAIMS

Roof insurance claim assistance in Northwest Arkansas

We assess the damage, compile the report, work with your insurance, and do the repair. Five steps, and you know which one you’re on.

Storm damage is a common claim. Responding well is the job.

Hail, powerful winds, and tornadoes can cause massive damage to roofs and house exteriors, and storm damage is one of the most common reasons to call an insurer, especially in the Midwest. Our storm damage response team knows how much it matters to respond efficiently after a storm.

The team acts quickly to assess the damage, compile reports, submit to insurance, and begin the roof repair and restoration. One bad leak can turn into far more in interior damage than the roof itself would have cost, which is why the two-year Arkansas window is worth knowing about before you need it.

How we work with insurance

Five steps, in order

Chalk-circled hail hits on asphalt shingles, marked during a Midcon roof inspection

Step 01 · hail hits, circled and logged

  1. Step 1 of 5

    Damage Assessment

We start with a complimentary evaluation. We bring the equipment to safely inspect and document the damaged materials, then pull weather data to validate the weather-related cause of the damage.

You get a detailed report with photos and video, and a game plan for repair options.

  2. Step 2 of 5

    File a Claim

If the damage is legitimate, we assist with filing and make sure all the necessary documentation reaches your insurance company. If we don't think a claim is justified, we'll tell you.

In Arkansas you have two years from the original loss date to file, and you can file at the first viable storm event even on a house you just bought.

  3. Step 3 of 5

    Adjuster Meeting

Your insurer sends an adjuster to validate the damage. We meet them on-site and share our pre-inspection findings and recommended repair scope, so the review covers what was actually damaged and not only what shows from a quick walk of the roof.

  4. Step 4 of 5

    Review Approved Repair Scope

Once a scope is approved, we go through it with you against what we documented. The repair method we recommend follows building codes and acceptable industry standards, so you can see what the approved scope covers and how it compares with what we documented.

  5. Step 5 of 5

    Material Selection and Property Repair

We present quality options and an installation quote, then schedule the work in a timely manner. The crew arrives ready to install, runs a safe work site, and finishes with rolling magnets to pick up stray nails.

You get access to a digital photo link documenting the installation as it goes.

What we won’t do

We don’t push unnecessary insurance claims. If our honest assessment says the roof doesn’t need replacing, we’ll tell you, and we’ll tell you when to start planning for it. If someone tells you to file on a roof that looks fine, they aren’t looking out for you.

We also won’t waive your deductible. Another contractor may offer to. We could do that too, but it would mean committing insurance fraud, and we wouldn’t ask our customers to take part in that.
