We provide all equipment necessary to safely inspect and document all damaged building materials. We access weather data and document and validate weather-related causes of damage. We determine a reasonable method of repair in accordance with building codes and acceptable industry standards. We will then create a detailed report (photos/video) documenting our findings and put together a game plan for repair options.
If your roof has legitimate storm damage, yes. One bad roof leak can turn into hundreds of thousands of dollars in interior damage versus a $20,000 replacement. In Arkansas, you have two years from the original loss date to file a claim. After that, you lose the option entirely. We inspect honestly. If we don't think it's justified, we'll tell you.
No. That's a myth. You can file an insurance claim at the first viable storm event, regardless of when you closed. We've had clients file claims two months after buying a brand-new construction home. The hail doesn't care when you moved in.

It depends on your roof's size, pitch, complexity, and the materials you choose. Most residential roof replacements in Northwest Arkansas range from $8,000 to $50,000+. We offer free inspections to give you a real number based on your actual roof.

It depends on your priorities. Metal lasts longer but costs significantly more, dents visibly in hailstorms, and some types require annual maintenance to keep your insurance valid. A premium SBS shingle may actually outperform entry-level metal at a lower price point. We'll walk you through both options honestly.

Quality and safety
License, insurance, warranty, who does the work and how the site is left.
We hold a Commercial Level Contractor's License through the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board. This higher-level licensing requires bonding and an independent review of company finances. We carry $2M General Liability Insurance and $1M Workers Comp insurance. We present/include License/Insurance documents with every project proposal.

As a Platinum Preferred contractor with Owens Corning, our projects were inspected as part of the application process. Our clients are given access to a digital photo link documenting the installation process and progress on their homes. All sales reps, site supervisors, and installers receive training on current building codes per the International Code Council (ICC). Each customer is assigned an experienced site supervisor with the technical expertise to ensure installation quality and site clean-up.
Sales Reps, Site Supervisors, and Installers receive ongoing training on our customer experience goals, product knowledge, installation standards, project management, and manufacturer installation instructions to ensure quality installation and ensure the roof system qualifies for manufacturer warranty coverage. We do this through our own in-house curriculum built around our stated mission and values, and with industry experts to stay current with industry best practices.
On-site supervisors ensure proper protective netting/coverings are in place, safe exit and access for customers to and from their homes. Our roofing specialists are also trained on safety protocols for themselves, the team, and the safety of the customer during the roofing installation.
Midcon Exteriors prioritizes the safety of customers, pets, and small children by thoroughly inspecting for wood, nails, metal and other materials before, during, and after installation. A netting system and tarping catch majority of debris and nails. Our clean-up is always finished off with rolling magnets to capture unseen nails often pulling out nails from the original construction.
