What our aluminum guards are made of
Our gutter guards are hi-temper aluminum sheet perforated with small holes, formed to handle high water flow while keeping out the large amounts of debris that come off a roof. The point is to keep the gutter open to water and closed to everything else.
They sit on the gutter you already have or go on with a new seamless run. Either way they are fitted to the profile, so there is no loose edge for wind to lift.
A guard does not make a gutter maintenance-free. Fine grit still settles over time, and we would rather tell you that now than have you discover it after the first season. What it does is turn a yearly ladder job into an occasional check.

Matching the guard to your trees
The right guard depends on what is falling on your roof. If pine needles are the main issue, the micro-mesh guard is the better fit. For larger leaves, our gutter screens may be the better match, and they cost less.
